Set time limits with your kids for playing with toys, watching cartoons, and reading painting books, etc., but when you say “go to bed in 10 minutes”, for example, do your kids eat their own words and get angry?

Use “Deal! Timer for Kids”, which will keep reminding your kids before the deadline and let them not feel too abrupt and have a mental buffer. Thank your kids for keeping their words when the time is up and positively reinforcing the behavior of keeping the promise so they will be more likely to do so in the future. Try it!

––– Idea origination and the story of the development team –––

The development team itself often set time limits with their kids when playing with toys, watching cartoons, and reading painting books, etc…all are done on the timer on the mobile phone. However, they often suffer from their kids cheating and temper, which tire them out.
After reading “10 Children Social Classes for Parents” by Prof. Zhou Yu Ru, great results can be observed by applying the “Timing reminder” and “Thanks for keeping your words” from the book. Finding it is tiresome by monitoring the timer on the phone, the app hence is made to help parents to feel more relaxed.

––– Other features –––

Background running timer
Although the app can only announce time by voice when running in the foreground, it can be quit at any time to do other things on the phone. The timer will not be interrupted and the app can be reactivated after finishing other things.

Extra large texts
The giant numbers of the timer let parents be able to put their mobile phones away and monitor from afar; kids can view that as well.

Fast switch between deal and penalty mode
Both modes have the same timing reminder functions; deal mode will announce “thanks for keeping your words” but none for penalty mode.

Exceeded time displayed
If time is up and cannot successfully keep the promise, the timer will keep running and at least let parents know how much time is over.
